Refund & Return Policy – Urban Cameras and Accessories

At Urban Cameras and Accessories, customer satisfaction is a top priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please review our refund and return policy below:

1. Returns Eligibility

We accept returns on most items within 7 days of purchase, provided that:

  • The item is unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition

  • All original accessories, manuals, and documentation are included

  • A valid proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) is provided

  • The item was not on clearance, special order, or marked as “non-returnable”

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund, unless defective:

  • Batteries, memory cards, and cleaning products

  • Software and downloadable items

  • Gift cards or vouchers

  • Items damaged by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized repairs

3. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days

  • Refunds are issued using the original payment method

  • Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error

4. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for defective or incorrectly supplied items, subject to availability. Please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order if there is an issue.

5. How to Return an Item

To initiate a return or exchange:

  2. Provide your order number, item details, and reason for return

  3. If approved, you may return the item in person or via courier (at your cost unless defective)

6. In-Store Purchases

For items purchased directly from our store at Suite 101A, Mezzanine Level, Umoya House, 2–6 New Street South, Marshalltown, Johannesburg, please bring your receipt and the item back within 7 days for assistance.
